Photo: An American Iraqi war veteran's C-Leg, computerized prosthetic leg stands in a physical therapy room at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC on January 7, 2004. The C-Leg is one of the latest designs of computer aided limbs. It was designed to aid older amputees, but has been popular among soldiers returning from Iraq, because it is easier to re-learn how to walk with. Most amputees who use this leg will also have a mechanical leg, because you can't run in while wearing this prosthetic device.
